Pôle de Chamars - tourist reception

For tourists and visitors, Besançon offers a reception system in the Chamars sector bringing together a set of services:

– Bus shuttle to the Citadel

– Tourist signage

– Parking with charging stations

– PatchGuard (care for your dog) in summer (because access to the Citadel is prohibited for animals)

– Reception area for coach drivers (Groups welcome)

2 tram lines, more than 50 bus lines, 7D / 7

Tram: 5 a.m. to 1 a.m., 7 days a week and public holidays (except May 1)

  • a tram every 6 minutes during rush hour on the Hauts du Chazal common core <> Parc Micaud
  • a tram every 10 to 12 minutes in rush hour between Parc Micaud <> Chalezeule / Gare Viotte

Bus: 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m., 7 days a week and public holidays (except May 1)

  • a bus every 8 to 10 minutes on the LIANES (lines L3 to L6)
  • a bus every 15 to 30 minutes on lines 7 to 12 (from Monday to Saturday only)

The Ginko Citadelle line takes you to the Citadel from March to October (May 1 included)
