Its cultural proposals...
The Diocesan Centre aims above all to fulfil its vocation as a centre for welcoming and meeting people. As such, it is the venue for various cultural events each year: conferences, exhibitions, concerts, film and theatre workshops, not forgetting the visits to the Seminary as part of the "Besançon, ville d'Art et d'Histoire" (Besançon, City of Art and History) and the services offered by the Grammont Library of the diocesan centre.
The originality of the cultural proposal of the Diocesan Centre consists in highlighting different artistic expressions; this programme is in line with one of the vocations of the site: a religious heritage open to all, it wants to become a place of dialogue where the relationship between culture and faith is enriched, where essential questions for the people of our time are shared.

The Diocesan Centre is part of a history, that of the Grand Séminaire. The seminary, its listed chapel, its interior courtyards, its grand staircase and its library are a regularly visited heritage.
