In the Middle Ages, Battant was surrounded by a double wall, and the district was structured into three banners: Battant, Arènes and Charmont. The inhabitants, nicknamed "Bousbots", formed a close-knit community with a strong focus on wine-growing and crafts. Take a stroll through the streets and discover the charm of this colourful district.
