Support for artistic creation in public spaces:
JUSTE ICI is a cultural association dedicated to supporting and developing artistic projects specifically designed for the public space. The association works to position art as a lever capable of changing the way the world is perceived, outside traditional cultural venues and at the heart of people's everyday lives.
The aim is to promote artists whose work is in line with this approach, and to give art a central place in urban change. This approach allows us to take a step back from the changes taking place in our common spaces and to question our everyday environment.
Since 2011, the association has been organising the BIEN URBAIN event, which highlights art in (and with) the public space in Besançon. At the same time, JUSTE ICI runs a number of other cultural initiatives linked to creative work in the urban environment.
The association also works closely with the local tourist office. This partnership takes the form of :
1. Offering two-voice guided tours, bringing together art and heritage.
2. Ensuring full publicity for all the events organised by the association.
