Visite guidée : Parcours de l'art sacré : 60 ans de création

A tour of the centre of Besançon will reveal the creations of J. Gilles, J. Gruber, J. Le Chevallier, J. Olin, A. Manessier, J.Ricardon, A. Dumas, J-F.Ferraton and Albert Decaris. The diocesan commissions for sacred art were created on 4 December 1963 in the context of the Vatican II Council. One of their missions is to promote artistic creation. Numerous artists engaged the diocese of Besançon in the renewal of Sacred Art.
