Fonds Régional d'Art Contemporain
The Franche-Comté Regional Contemporary Art Fund (FRAC) curates and manages a public collection of contemporary art with more than 600 works. Its aim is to exhibit / distribute the works of its collection in Besançon at its own site, but also throughout the region. FRAC commits to promoting contemporary creativity in its most experimental form and to democratising these works that are very often surprising, but which are nothing more than a reflection of our own society. The watchwords here are: - collect – support creativity – bring awareness of the creativity of the current period to a wide public.

Opening periods
Open from Wednesday to Friday from 2pm to 6pm. Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 7pm. Exceptionally closed on 1 May, 24, 25 and 31 December, 1 January and during exhibition set-up periods.
