Located close to Besançon city centre, La Rodia has established itself as a cultural hub for contemporary music. With a demanding and eclectic programme, it hosts around 70 evenings a year and attracts 38,000 spectators.
La Rodia has been labelled a "contemporary music venue" by the French Ministry of Culture, and supports local and international artists, encourages creative work (studios, artistic support) and develops cultural initiatives for a wide range of audiences.
It also offers a real place to live: ticket office, bar, on-site catering, mediation area and accessible reception point.
