This peaceful walk follows both banks of the Doubs upstream and downstream of Besançon's city centre. It gives a good overview of the typical landscapes of the Doubs Valley, punctuated in particular by its many hills. The route is very easy along the river banks, but becomes more difficult to reach the viewpoints (options): around 3 km and an additional 160 m of ascent to reach each viewpoint.
