Spanning 130 square metres, the shop acts as a link between producers and consumers, offering a glimpse through the large picture windows of the cheese-makers at work, as well as the wheels of Comté cheese maturing patiently in the cellar. Pleasant and functional, the sales area has been designed to meet the needs of shop assistants and customers alike, and to make it easy for everyone to get around.
You'll find a range of Comté cheeses produced by the cheese dairy and matured by Monts & Terroirs (mild, fruity, old reserve and prestige), as well as cream, raw butter and fromage frais. A number of Franche-Comté PDO cheeses are also showcased (Morbier, Mont d'Or and Bleu de Gex), alongside local specialities and products such as small cow's and goat's cheeses, cancoillotte, yoghurts, charcuterie, Morteau sausage, free-range eggs, ice cream from the Aissey farm, regional wines and beers and many other local delicacies...
