Brochettes de contrebassistes, sauté de musicien, altiste au pot... Which dish will win this year's great annual musical cooking competition? The jury, presided over by the lion and made up of a goat, a Franche-Comté snail, a duck and a swan, taste the dishes prepared by the animals one by one. But suddenly the competition goes wrong: the musicians go on strike, and one of the dishes is found to be poisoned... Who is after the lion? Who is the culprit?
A delightfully wacky musical tale, in which Saint-Saëns' score is simmering with irony, mischief and a healthy dose of rebellious spirit. To be savoured without moderation!
