At the end of the 19th century, the exploitation of the salt deposits of Miserey allowed the emergence of hydrotherapy in Besançon. Like all water towns, Besançon has a thermal infrastructure, hotels, restaurants, games and shows room. A public garden with flowered lawns and tree-lined paths completes the ensemble and offers an ideal counterpart to the Micaud garden.
