Fort de Fontain

    The Fort de Fontain, built between 1874 and 1878, is considered to be the most original fort in the Besançon entrenched camp. Its underground casemates and annexed batteries bear witness to the military ingenuity of the 19th century, and can accommodate more than two hundred men.
