Musée des Armées Lucien Roy

Language spoken: English

Since 1983, the Musée des Armées Lucien Roy has been retracing more than 150 years of history, from the Franco-Prussian War of 1870 to the most recent conflicts, including the World Wars and the wars in Indochina and Algeria. In a dozen themed rooms, you can discover the evolution of the French armies through an impressive collection of weapons, uniforms, posters, medals and everyday objects presented in display cases or realistic dioramas. One of the largest army museums in the Doubs region, it offers a fascinating insight into the memories of the men and women who shaped these important periods in France's history. If you would like to find out more about the museum, pay us a visit or donate an object, please contact us via our website.
