Bring the whole family and enjoy a festive World Heritage Day! Echoing the 8 other sites on the UNESCO World Heritage List in Burgundy-Franche-Comté, rediscover the notion of Outstanding Universal Value and the importance of preserving listed sites in a fun way. Accompanied by a game master, you'll be challenged to find properties on the World Heritage List in France or elsewhere in the world. Wander around the Royal Salt Works looking for clues to help you work out why the site has been listed, and take part in memory and construction games for young and old alike. You'll also have the chance to rediscover the Centre de Lumières, a captivating three-dimensional show offering a large-scale view of 8 listed sites around the world. A travel diary will take you on a tour of the other sites listed in the region. ------------ 19 April, 9am to 6pm. [Programme] The world of world heritage This area offers a range of fun activities to help you find out more about World Heritage and its listed sites. Young and old alike can take part in memory games and construction games. It's a great place for families to share and exchange ideas. Included in the admission ticket Free access from 10am to 6pm for children aged 4 and over Inventing world heritage Accompanied by a game master, you will be challenged to find, with the help of clues, properties on the World Heritage List in France or around the world. The Royal Saltworks, a universal heritage Unravel the mysteries of its World Heritage listing The Royal Saltworks has been on UNESCO's World Heritage List since 1982, but do you really know its Universal and Exceptional value? Working as a team, you will be tasked with piecing together all the clues that will lead you to deduce why this asset is so precious. Guided tour of the Saltworks A mediator-guide will introduce you to the 11 buildings where the salt workers lived and worked, and comment on the "Histoires de sel" exhibition, before explaining the life and work of Ledoux, the famous architect of the Age of Enlightenment. 3€ from 16 years old in addition to the entrance fee, on reservation at the ticket office at 10h45 / 12h00 / 14h00 / 15h30 The Centre of Lights Enter the heart of this immersive multi-sensory space and contemplate all the richness of the sites listed as World Heritage by UNESCO. A captivating three-dimensional show. 8 large-format films, navigation on the screens, a 360° experience in the Traditions Pavilion... as you stroll along, built in three stages, you will resonate with the site and its spectacular aura.
