Les Légendes de la Pop New Wave

The Lions Club Besançon Cité is organising a "Live Music" concert to be held at the Grand Kursaal in Besançon on Saturday 7 February 2026 at 8.30pm. Les Légendes de la Pop New Wave, a group of six professional musicians from the Franche-Comté region, will be bringing the greatest Anglo-Saxon hits of the 80s and 90s back to life. The 1980s saw the emergence of a host of iconic bands - including Depeche Mode, The Cure, Orchestral Manœuvre, Tears for Fears, Simple Mind, Alan Parson and many more... These bands' greatest hits will be heard in the Kursaal, taking you on a journey through the energy, aesthetics and sound that have marked generations. In keeping with its commitment to solidarity, the Besançon Cité Lions Club has chosen to donate the evening's proceeds to a project run by the 'Sourire à la vie' association, which helps children with cancer.
