Traversée(s)
Traversée(s)
Call for participation in the Traversée(s) project, Training & Creation, from February to June 2026, with Delphine Dartus & Benjamin Labruyère for 15-20 participants.
Entries by 14 January 2026.
Over five weekends, we'll embark on an intensive training process to prepare our bodies for a collective dance experience: on 21-22 February, 14-15 March, 25-26 April, 16-17 May, 20-21 June, we'll refine our body awareness, test organic movement strategies, strengthen our memory by learning choreographic phrases, and explore the fluid movements needed to enter and leave the floor with finesse, listening and availability.
Using the tools of the Axis Syllabus, partnering, floorwork and dance theatre, we'll open up the range of possibilities for building a sensitive technique, broadening support and activating the imagination.
This path will lead to the creation of a public space performance, Traversée(s), presented as part of Jours de danse between 25 and 27 June on the Battant bridge: a space of concrete and wind, a place of passage where we will slide, sculpt our bodies and shape the urban environment through the simple presence of the group.
We'll play with the lines of the city, creating strong, offbeat images, sometimes pop, sometimes kitsch.
We'll be looking for the beauty of movement as much as the beauty of the collective, letting the meeting of the group shape the writing, the gestures, and the surprises that will emerge along the way.
A demanding, joyful and lively process. A journey to be made together.
Although there are no requirements as to the level of practice required for this project, Delphine and Benjamin's work is physically demanding. So you'll need to be fit and hardy if you decide to sign up! Even if we are perfectly aware that life is full of unforeseen events, your presence on all 5 weekends of work and the weekend of dance days (from 25 to 27 June 2026) is essential!
Financial contribution: €220. If the amount of this participation represents an obstacle, please register and get in touch with us by writing to ca.group@framalistes.org.
If the number of registrations falls below the project's target, the project will not take place. If it exceeds, we will organise a public draw on 15 January.
Delphine Dartus is a dancer, choreographer and movement teacher. Her passion for the human body, and more particularly the dancing body, has led her to explore and train in contemporary dance, Argentine tango, contact improvisation and the Axis Syllabus, under the tutelage of many renowned masters. She has also deepened her experience and approach through the practice of massage using a variety of methods (Wùo Taï, tissue resilience, neuro-intuitive, Tui Na, etc.). Co-founder of the Bilbobasso company, she travels the world with her shows combining Argentine tango and fire art in the street. Delphine now offers dance classes combining technique, creativity and well-being, for an enriching and enlightening experience.
Dancer, teacher and choreographer Benjamin Labruyère shares his passion for movement through floorwork, partnering and dance theatre. A gymnast and breakeur, he went on to train in contemporary dance and acro-dance at the Centre National des Arts du Cirque. His aesthetic and teaching methods are informed by various somatic practices such as Lucid Body, Continuum Movement, Axis Syllabus and clowning, as well as his background as a physiotherapist and Wùo Taï practitioner. His dance is hybrid, playing with spiral and momentum, at once feline, organic and acrobatic. He draws on the body's anatomy, fascia and sensoriality to create movement that is as authentic as it is aesthetic. After working with various companies (Achak, PurE, contre-temps Danse, Axelle rocoulet, Théâtre Envie, voix), he is now a performer with Le Gazouillis des éléphants, the Tutti collective, the Callicarpa company and the Psaodi company, which he co-created in 2020. At the same time, he is co-creator and trainer of neuro-intuitive massage.
