Saint-Vit celebrates Christmas with "Girouette", the dreamy witch
who dreams (a little too) big!
The Place de la Mairie will be transformed into an enchanted village to host a huge Christmas event that's warm, family-friendly and completely free of charge.
With a craft market, a magical show and a meeting with Father Christmas, it's sure to be an unforgettable experience.
This year, the town welcomes "Girouette et le Père Noël" (Girouette and Father Christmas) by the Compagnie Caravailes: the tender and delightfully wacky story of an apprentice witch from Salem.
For 743 years, Girouette has been sending her letter to Father Christmas, hoping one day to celebrate Christmas like the rest of us.
But waiting has its limits, so she pulls out her grimoire and tries to make Santa appear so that she can deliver her letter in person.
But Girouette is only an apprentice witch.
Her spell turns out to be a disaster, suddenly depriving the whole fantasy world of magic!
Without magic, how can Father Christmas deliver his presents?
Faced with the seriousness of the situation, Girouette embarks on a quest that is as funny as it is chaotic, to save Christmas.
