To usher in the New Year, the Orchestre Victor Hugo offers you a celebration of elegance "à la française". With a faun tired of chasing nymphs imagined by Mallarmé, Daudet's inaccessible Arlésienne, the pavane of a Spanish princess, the painting of a spring morning, a ball where you can't help thinking of the one you love, or the famous "Hungarian march" conducted by Louis de Funès at the start of La Grande Vadrouille. Not forgetting Satie's gymnopedies orchestrated by Debussy, and Un français à New York arranged for jazz trio and orchestra by Paul Lay, named Instrumental Artist of the Year at the 2020 Victoires du Jazz awards.
