    After a winter spent under shelter, the 46 goats and 51 ewes of Besançon's municipal herd have left their wintering grounds to return to their first pastures in the hills and meadows of the city. Just a few days before World Biodiversity Day, why not accompany part of the herd of goats to the Planoise hill? Learn more about eco-grazing and protecting biodiversity during a 2km mini hike and a number of nature discovery activities on offer to participants throughout the afternoon, from 1pm to 4pm. Programme: Start at 11am, Parc urbain, Planoise Arrival around 12 noon, Fort de Planoise lawn Aperitif offered by the City and picnic (bring your own rubbish and sort it) Activities from 1pm to 4pm, Planoise fort lawn: Discover biodiversity with the City of Besançon: - Discovering goats with La Petite école dans la Forêt: educational games and creative activities - Plant recognition and gardening tips - Understanding the management of the city's green and natural spaces Presentation of eco-pasturing and its benefits for biodiversity. With the town's shepherds Discover the world of bees with an educational beehive and honey tasting. With the Doubs Beekeeping Union Presentation of our hills and landscapes, and more particularly the Planoise hill and its fort. Stand and 2 guided tours of the Planoise fort at 2pm and 3pm with the Aval'fort association (booking required). The first step to recycling is to sort properly! The Waste Management Department will be on hand to answer your questions and help you learn more about sorting and waste by playing a board game. With Grand Besançon Métropole Ode to life: costumes, a mascot, totems and banners, created collectively during workshops, will accompany the animals and the public as they ascend the mountain in a ritual celebration of life. With the association Juste ici Old-growth forests: old-growth forests and their rich biodiversity will be the focus of fun activities (biodiversity wheel, quiz, etc.) and prizes to be won! With the Conservatoire d'espaces naturels de Franche-Comté "One health": prevention of tiger mosquitoes, endocrine disruptors, etc. We all have "one health", so it's up to us to take care of it. With the City of Besançon Biodiversity in the forest: take a walk along the edge of an islet of senescence, to discover biodiversity in the forest: the sylvigenetic cycle, dead wood and its associated fauna, dendromicrohabitats (registration at animations.dbev@besancon.fr). With the Office National des Forêts The event will be cancelled in the event of bad weather. Don't forget to bring your picnic and walk home.
