For its fifteenth edition, from 29 May to 7 June 2020, the festival continues its route on the Via Francigena (French Route) and orientates its programming around the theme of “Passerelles en Musiques”
The Via Francigena is a pilgrimage route that links Canterbury to Rome.
In 2020, Passerelles en Musiques will cross the Jura, the Doubs and the Canton of Vaud.
The stops are Besançon and Montfaucon, Ornans, Lausanne, Lutry, the castle of Chalerand (Switzerland), and for its hiking concerts the Château d’Etrabonne, the castle of Jalleranges and the Abbey of Acey.
Each year the Festival brings medieval, renaissance, baroque, classical and romantic music to life on period instruments.
Lined with lectures, master classes, readings, guided tours, tastings…. it brings the spectator a wider perspective to this event
The works and concerts are performed by exceptional artists and international groups of great renown.
