The Musée de la Madeleine, located inside the imposing collegiate church of Sainte-Madeleine, opens its doors to the public during the summer.
The museum, which has 3 exhibition rooms, contains a wealth of religious treasures, including a magnificent collection of paramentique, sumptuous religious textiles, rare and finely embroidered straw tapestries dating from the 18th century.
This year’s temporary exhibition focuses on a magnificent display of Ukrainian and Russian icons as a tribute to the Ukrainian people.
One of these icons was almost left at the Customs House! The curator will be able to explain to the visitors the adventures of this passage in Customs!
The Museum is open from 6 July every Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon from 2pm to 5pm in July and August:
Groups are also welcome.
