    Contrary to what one might think, the houses in Bisontine that predate the 16th century have not completely disappeared, as shown by the homes of certain great ecclesiastical dignitaries, such as the old archbishop's palace or the dwelling of the Saint-Esprit hospital.

Other traces remain, such as the plot of land, directly resulting from the cutting up of the ground in the medieval period, or the survival of the timber-framed buildings of the XVIᵉ century. In the town, the remains of some large merchants' houses with their monumental cellars have also been preserved. As for the aristocratic habitat, it was represented by tower houses, some of which are still visible in the urban space of the old centre.

    Prices: €8 - €6 for students, under 18s, members of the Tourist Office (on presentation of a card), disabled people. Free for under 12s and jobseekers.
