Journée dédiée au bien-être animal

For the second time, Besançon is organising a day dedicated to animal welfare. The aim of the day is to inform the public and raise awareness of animal welfare and living conditions. To mark the day, the local authority will be providing a space for animal welfare associations to present their activities to the public. The programme for the day includes - Un animal, des animaux" exhibition by the L214 association, on the emotions and sensitivity of animals and their rights. - Conferences on animal issues (associations will be able to raise public awareness on a particular animal-related subject). - Obérythmée (choreography to music in which the dog dances with its human). - Photobooth: animals can have their photo taken with their favourite human! - A publisher who will be selling a book on the animal condition. Profits from the sale of the book will be donated to an animal charity of the publisher's choice (after deduction of the book's production costs).
