From Thursday 6 June 1940, when German aircraft appeared in the skies over Besançon, to the liberation of the city on 8 September 1944, Besançon lived through four years of occupation. It was a painful and turbulent period, punctuated by acts of heroism and moving episodes. A memorial tour through the heart of the city.
