Tareek's atypical career took him to the top of the French stand-up scene. After developing a taste for comedy at school, and being encouraged by his friends to perform on stage in Parisian cafés and theatres, he decided to study medicine for seven years, specialising in psychiatry. It was this specialisation that enabled Tareek to acquire an acute knowledge of human nature, an asset that allows him to play with his audience like no other! Versatile, he explores different media to reach a wide audience. Tareek is very active on the radio as a presenter on Beur FM and on television, hosting programmes on Trace TV and TV5 Monde. Spotted by Jamel Debbouze, Tareek joined the famous Jamel Comedy Club troupe for three seasons, and it was with his sketch "A Oaida Quizz", presented alongside Tony Saint Laurent and Kevin Razy, that he stood out from the crowd. The general public discovered him when he took part in the programme "La France a un incroyable Talent" broadcast on M6, where he reached the final, winning the hearts of viewers with his unique brand of humour. He has appeared in films such as "C'est tout pour moi" by Nawel Madani, "Coexister" by Fabrice Eboué, and "Reste un peu" by Gad Elmaleh, as well as TV series such as "Drôle" by Fanny Herrero and "Besoin d'Amour" by Fred Hazan. In his new show, Tareek takes a light-hearted approach to his life as a divorced single father. Thanks to his talent for improvisation, he constantly interacts with his audience, creating a unique show at every performance. His charisma on stage and his sense of humour and improvisation make him an extraordinary performer and a king of comedy.
